Josh Hubbard
of
Madison-Ridgeland Academy (Madison, Miss.)
finished as the all-time leading scorer in Mississippi as well as top scorer in the Class of 2023.
Hubbard, who scored 4,367 career points with the Patriots, finished at No. 18 in high school history. Just 10 points behind, however, is
Travis Perry
of
Lyon County (Eddyville, Ky.)
, who finished his junior season with 4,357 points and the all-time lead in Kentucky.
Hubbard and Perry are the career leaders in scorering in the Classes of 2023 and 2024. The list includes nearly 70 players who scored over 2,000 points during their career. The bottom four players on the list are known to have scored over 2,000 points, but the exact total is unknown.
Sources for the list include the MaxPreps leaderboards, the Minnesota Basketball Records website, state association record books and various newspaper reports.
