DCP Alum Rock has no trouble against Mid-Peninsula

Recap: DCP Alum Rock Lobos vs. Mid-Peninsula Dragons

In what's become a running theme this season, the DCP Alum Rock Lobos gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They blew past Mid-Peninsula 33-9. Winning may never get old, but DCP Alum Rock sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Estrella Sanchez was her usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with nine steals and six rebounds. Sanchez is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Taide Garcia, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

DCP Alum Rock has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Mid-Peninsula, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. DCP Alum Rock will take on El Primero at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. El Primero is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Mid-Peninsula, they will play host again and welcome Burlingame, where tip off is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Burlingame presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Mid-Peninsula in California (Burlingame is ranked 441st, while Mid-Peninsula is ranked 1219th).
