Softball Recap: Eugene Comes Up Short

It was a Battle of the Birds when Eugene took on Fayette on Monday. The Eagles fell 7-3 to the Falcons. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Eugene dropped their record down to 3-5 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Fayette, their victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Eugene will host South Callaway at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fayette, they will head out to take on Linn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
