Ryan McGuire and Jared Lea provided fans with a highlight when they connected against New Prague. The longest such play in Missota this season, the connection resulted in 70 yards.

Farmington extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Chaska, 27-23. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.

Chanhassen's dynamic duo of McGuire and Lea proved tough for the Trojans to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. McGuire threw for 208 yards and three touchdowns and Lea had 141 yards receiving. Alex Riley helped Chanhassen's passing attack out by catching four balls for 43 yards.

Nick Larson was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 209 yards on 35 carries as Shakopee bested New Prague. Austen Leadstrom also contributed to the rushing game with 60 yards on the ground.

Chanhassen's McGuire and Lea have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Missota in both passing and receiving yards. McGuire has thrown for 515 yards this season, while Lea, a 6-foot-3 receiver, has 18 catches for 335 yards. The Sabers' Larson leads the league in rushing yards with 508.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Academy of Holy Angels takes on the Hawks. At the moment, the Stars are in second, while Chaska is in third.

Farmington made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,550 from 4,152. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 27-23 victory over Lambert Brown's team last week.
