Football Recap: Pottsgrove Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 33 points the game before, Pottsgrove was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of Pope John Paul II. While losing is never fun, the Falcons can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 261st, while Pope John Paul II are ranked 55th).

Ryan Lucci threw for 86 yards on five of 13 attempts. On the ground, Isaiah Rivera rushed for 29 yards.

A big part of Pope John Paul II's win came down to the chemistry between Tj Dozier and his top target Brandon Deangelo. Dozier rushed for 95 yards on only 11 carries while Deangelo picked up 59 receiving yards and one score.

Pottsgrove's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pope John Paul II, their record is now 6-1.
