Baseball Game Preview: Tattnall County Warriors vs. Cook Hornets

The Tattnall County Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Cook Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tattnall County has now lost seven straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 20.

Tattnall County will face Cook after dropping another heartbreaker against Crisp County on Friday, which marked the second time in a row the team's come within 2.1 of beating them. The Warriors fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 5-4.

Tattnall County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Miles Brown, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Meanwhile, Cook suffered their closest defeat since February 21st on Friday. They fell just short of Pierce County by a score of 3-1. The loss continues a trend for the Hornets in their meetings with the Bears: they've now lost three in a row.

Tattnall County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Cook, their loss dropped their record down to 15-8.
