Baseball Recap: Dacula Gets the Win

Dacula saw some tournament action on Friday. They had just enough and edged out the Huntsville Panthers 5-3.

Dacula got a great performance from Alex Renwick as he pitched five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. Renwick has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Drayle Milline was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs. Alejandro Padilla was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Dacula's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Huntsville, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Coming up, Dacula will take on The First Academy in a tournament on Friday. The last three games the Royals have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Huntsville, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hewitt-Trussville at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
