Recap: Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles vs. Brashear Bulls

The Obama Academy of International Studies Eagles waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins but they left with four. They came out on top against Brashear by a score of 44-36. That's two games straight that Obama Academy of International Studies has won by exactly eight points.

Several Bulls players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ra'Nyah Morris, who scored 14 points along with five steals. Morris is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Sherrill, who scored 15 points.

Obama Academy of International Studies now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Brashear, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.

Obama Academy of International Studies does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Brashear, they and Perry Traditional Academy will face off at 3:15 p.m. on February 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hopefully Brashear focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday.
