Softball Recap: Libby Loggers vs. Whitefish Bulldogs
Libby came out on top against Whitefish on Monday thanks in part to the team's impressive ten-run fifth inning. The Loggers blew past the Bulldogs 16-0. The contest marked the Loggers' most dominant win of the season.
Weslee MacDonald and Carmen Kohler made a splash while hitting and pitching. Throwing, MacDonald didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Kohler tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. MacDonald has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in four consecutive appearances. At the plate, MacDonald went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI, while Kohler went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Those two hits gave Kohler a new career-high.

Libby always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Whitefish only posted an OBP of .235.
