Soccer Game Preview: Benedictine vs. Ware County

The Benedictine Cadets will head out to take on the Ware County Gators at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.

Benedictine came up short against Glynn Academy on Tuesday, falling 5-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Cadets in their matchups with the Terrors: they've now lost four in a row.

Benedictine's goal came courtesy of Colt Pfeiffer, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Ware County entered their tilt with Berrien on Tuesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Rebels with a sharp 6-3 victory. With the Gators ahead 5-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Ware County pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 18 goals over those three contests. As for Benedictine, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
