Basketball Game Preview: Mammoth Huskies vs. Boron Bobcats

Mammoth is 0-10 against Boron since January of 2018 but things could change on Friday. Having just played yesterday, the Mammoth Huskies will get right back to it and host the Boron Bobcats at 6:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Mammoth is headed into Friday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Thursday. They fell 32-25 to Trona.

Meanwhile, Boron was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against Kern Valley, falling 56-33. While losing is never fun, the Bobcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1127th, while the Broncs are ranked 446th).

Boron's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Mammoth, their loss dropped their record down to 5-15.
