The Eisenhower Knights will take on the Bishop McCort Crushers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.5 points per game this season.

Eisenhower is headed into Friday's match hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 58-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Wilmington. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 93rd).

Despite the loss, Eisenhower had strong showings from Clara Steinberg, who shot 53% from the field to rack up 20 points along with six assists and six boards, and Lainey Font, who posted 15 points and six rebounds. That was a full 38.5% of Eisenhower's points, marking the 23rd time in a row Steinberg has had more than a third of the team's points. Laney Belcher was another key player, putting up nine points.

They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Eisenhower was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. This was only their fourth loss (out of 21 games) when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Bishop McCort waltzed into their contest on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 54-49 W against the Comets.

Bishop McCort pushed their record up to 22-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Eisenhower, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.
