Basketball Recap: Linden Comes Up Short

Linden was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Tokay Tigers 54-12. The Lions lost against the Tigers in their previous head to head back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-23 score last time.

Linden's record is now 0-4. As for Tokay, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-4.

Linden won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Calaveras at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Calaveras is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 50.3 points per game this season. As for Tokay, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Ripon at 4:30 p.m. on December 27th.
