Recap: Olympian Eagles vs. Crawford Colts
The Olympian Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They blew past Crawford 84-41 on the road. The result was nothing new for Olympian, who have now won six matchups by 20 points or more so far this season.
Olympian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Asia Darcuiel, who went 7 for 11 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 8 assists. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Darcuiel has scored at least 25% of Olympian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Martin, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds.
Crawford's loss came despite strong showings from Fatuma Abdi and Khadija Muriidi. Abdi scored nine points along with seven rebounds and four blocks, while Muriidi scored 11 points. Those four blocks set a new season-high mark for her. Another player making a difference was Ilhan Ali Mohammed, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Olympian now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Crawford, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
