Soccer Recap: Denison-Schleswig Takes a Loss

Denison-Schleswig was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lewis Central Titans. If Denison-Schleswig were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to Lewis Central when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Denison-Schleswig now has a losing record of 3-4-1. As for Lewis Central, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Denison-Schleswig will challenge Logan-Magnolia at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lewis Central, they will square off against Sioux City North at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sioux City North's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
