Washington won the last time they faced Kennedy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Huskies walked away with a 40-33 victory over the Titans.

Despite the loss, Kennedy still got an impressive performance from Payton Siquig, who posted 15 points and five boards. Siquig has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times she's played. Catherine Cheng was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Washington's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Kennedy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Washington will host Moreau Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Huskies will need to watch out since the Mariners have now posted at least 55 points in their last three contests. As for Kennedy, they will be playing at home against Newark Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
