Basketball Recap: Sylmar Comes Up Short

Sylmar was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 55-41 bruising from the Van Nuys Wolves. The Spartans were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in February of 2024.

Sylmar's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Van Nuys, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.

Sylmar will square off against Canoga Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Van Nuys, they will face off against Panorama at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
