Football Recap: Staples-Motley Takes a Loss

Staples-Motley and Holdingford squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Staples-Motley had to settle for second. They were dealt a 41-0 defeat at the hands of the Huskers. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Cardinals were not able to get on the board.

Staples-Motley's loss dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Holdingford, they pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

As of now, neither Staples-Motley nor the Huskers have any future games scheduled.
