Soccer Game Preview: Providence Christian Academy vs. Rabun County

The Providence Christian Academy Storm will take on the Rabun County Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Providence Christian Academy comes in on five and Rabun County on three.

Providence Christian Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. Their defense stepped up to hand Oglethorpe County a 12-0 shutout on Friday. It was an even better day for Alex Egan as he scored four goals for his team.

Meanwhile, Rabun County and Elbert County's game on Thursday was close at halftime, but Rabun County turned on the heat in the second half with two goals. Rabun County blew past Elbert County 4-1. That three goal margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Providence Christian Academy's victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those five contests. As for Rabun County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
