A-D-M came tearing into Friday's contest with nine straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 3.9 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They never let the Mt. Vernon Mustangs get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The Tigers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

A-D-M's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Mt. Vernon, their loss dropped their record down to 14-8.

A-D-M didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-2 victory against Solon on the 21st. As for Mt. Vernon, they have also already played their next game, a 7-2 win against Gilbert on the 21st.
