Football Recap: Sheridan Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Sheridan and Granville squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Sheridan had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Blue Aces by a score of 30-28. The Generals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Aces apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2018.

Sheridan's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-4. As for Granville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Sheridan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Granville, they will face off against Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Aces will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last seven contests.
