For the second straight game, Tuckahoe will face off against Haldane. The Tigers are taking a road trip to challenge the Blue Devils at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tuckahoe has four straight victories, Haldane has 19 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Tuckahoe is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They never let Haldane get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. Considering the Tigers have won seven matchups by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Connor Brice made a splash while hitting and pitching. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out 13 over five innings pitched. Tuckahoe is 3-1 when Brice posts eight or more strikeouts, but 7-10 otherwise. Brice was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 11 times he's played.
In other batting news, Tuckahoe got a massive performance out of Jay Romeo, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four RBI, two runs, and one triple. Romeo has become a key player for the Tigers: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 6-11 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Luca Delconte, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI.
Tuckahoe hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Haldane struck out 12 times.
Haldane's loss dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Tuckahoe, their record now sits at 10-11.
Haldane's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Tuckahoe has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .434.
