Baseball Recap: Fullington Academy Comes Up Short

Fullington Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Westwood Wildcats, falling 13-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent loss being a 10-7 defeat last Tuesday.

Bryson Faulk was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Fullington Academy's loss dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Westwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-4.

Coming up, Fullington Academy will look to defend their home field on April 4 against Rock Springs Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. As for Westwood, they will venture away from home to face off against Deerfield-Windsor at 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
