Baseball Recap: Academy for Classical Education's Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Baconton Charter, Academy for Classical Education was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They walked away with an 11-6 win over the Washington County Golden Hawks. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Gryphons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Academy for Classical Education's win bumped their record up to 17-10. As for Washington County, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-7.

Looking ahead, Academy for Classical Education will be playing in front of their home fans against Lake Oconee Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Gryphons surely won't give up without a fight. As for Washington County, they will challenge Thomson at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
