Basketball Recap: Mia Fahey's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Galileo over Washington

Galileo lost against Washington back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Galileo Lions came up short against the Washington Eagles, falling 57-32.

Galileo lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Mia Fahey, who posted 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Yee, who earned nine points.

Galileo's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Washington, their win bumped their record up to 10-5.

Coincidentally, Galileo and Washington will both be playing Lincoln the next time they take the court. Washington will host Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Galileo will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 19th.
