It was a proper cat-fight when Christopher faced off against Lincoln on Friday. The Cougars narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Lions 31-29. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.

Christopher didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Ethan Vernon and Kordell Crocker.

Christopher now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lincoln, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Christopher will face off against rival Live Oak at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Lincoln is set to take on their familiar foe Santa Teresa at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
