Softball Recap: Capitol Hill Comes Up Short

If Capitol Hill was riding high fresh off their 17-5 takedown of Northwest Classen last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Redwolves came up short against the Classen SAS Comets on Tuesday, falling 12-1. The Redwolves haven't had much luck with the Comets recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Capitol Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Olivia Vargas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

Capitol Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Classen SAS, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12-1 record this season.

As of now, neither Capitol Hill nor Classen SAS have any future games scheduled.
