Soccer Recap: Roosevelt Takes a Loss

Roosevelt managed to keep up with Lotus School For Excellence until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Roughriders came up short against the Meteors, falling 3-0. Roosevelt have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Roosevelt's loss dropped their record down to 4-9-1. As for Lotus School For Excellence, the victory (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 12-1.

Coming up, Roosevelt will be playing in front of their home fans against Wellington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Roosevelt will be up against Wellington's rather soft defense (which has allowed 6.86 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lotus School For Excellence, they will head out on the road to face off against Fountain Valley at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
