Volleyball Recap: Orthopaedic Comes Up Short

After flying high against Aspire Ollin on Wednesday, Orthopaedic came back down to earth. The Vipers came up short against the Central City Value Jaguars on Friday, falling 3-0. The Vipers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

While Orthopaedic was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-15, 25-20.

Orthopaedic moved to 3-5 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Central City Value, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Orthopaedic will face off against Animo Bunche at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Central City Value, they will take on CHAMPS at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
