Lambert is 8-2 against Forsyth Central since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Lambert Longhorns are taking a road trip to challenge the Forsyth Central Bulldogs at 8:00 p.m.

Lambert is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering St. Pius X Catholic just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Golden Lions by a score of 1-0.

Meanwhile, Forsyth Central hadn't done well against Alpharetta recently (they were 0-8 in their previous eight matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Forsyth Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Alpharetta, sneaking past 2-1. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Lambert's loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Forsyth Central, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Everything went Lambert's way against Forsyth Central in their previous meeting back in March of 2024, as Lambert made off with a 4-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lambert since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
