Basketball Recap: Lindsay Drops Season-High Score on Granite Hills

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindsay). They took down the Granite Hills Grizzlies 61-43 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 40-23 back in January.

It was another big night for Melanie Navarro, who posted 31 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played. Brianna Jara was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

Lindsay was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in February of 2024.

Lindsay's victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Granite Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-15.

We've got a battle between Cardinals coming up. As for Granite Hills, they will challenge Strathmore at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Strathmore will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Granite Hills surely won't give up without a fight.
