Basketball Game Preview: KIPP Navigate College Prep Tigers vs. Kehillah Rams

The KIPP Navigate College Prep Tigers will venture away from home to square off against the Kehillah Rams at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few points on average, (KIPP Navigate College Prep: 29.4, Kehillah: 27.7) so any points scored will be well earned.

On Tuesday, KIPP Navigate College Prep ended up a good deal behind KIPP San Jose Collegiate and lost 41-24.

Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Kehillah's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They took a 45-34 hit to the loss column at the hands of Jewish Community.

KIPP Navigate College Prep will have to contain Ariella Sheppard as she made an impact in Kehillah's last game. She posted 22 points. Sheppard is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. Noga Kohavi was another key player, putting up six points and three steals.

Even though they lost, Kehillah smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 20 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive rebounds in four consecutive matchups.

Kehillah's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for KIPP Navigate College Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
