Soccer Recap: Wasco Triumphs

Wasco's game on Friday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Immanuel Eagles by a score of 3-1.

Arianna Bernal and Johana Valenzuela scored all three of Wasco's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-7-2. As for Immanuel, they now have a losing record at 2-3-4.

After both having extra time off, Wasco and Chavez will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. As for Immanuel, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Coast Union at 11:15 p.m. on January 4, 2025. Immanuel is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.4 goals per game this season.
