With a playoff win on the line, Strath Haven rose to the challenge on Saturday. They breezed past the Bangor Slaters to the tune of 66-36. The Panthers' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Despite the loss, Bangor still got an impressive performance from Avery Nelson, who went 10-for-25 on her way to 26 points. That was a full 72.2% of Bangor's points, marking the fourth time in a row Nelson has posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kayla Cole, who scored three points and six rebounds.

The victory was the third in a row for Strath Haven, bringing their record for this year to 9-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.7 points over those games. As for Bangor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-13 record this season.
