            Softball Recap: Dunwoody Wildcats vs. Roswell Hornets        
        
		
        
        
            It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Dunwoody had no problem doing just that  on Monday. They walked away with  a   10-7  victory over the Roswell Hornets. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Wildcats' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
 Anslie Worley spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and five unearned) runs on nine hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive appearances.

 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Vivian Curry, who  went a perfect 4-for-4 with three  doubles, three  RBI,  and one  stolen base. Those  three  doubles gave  her a new career-high.  Allie Sleep was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with one  home run and one  double.
 Dunwoody  hit smart and  finished the game with only two  strikeouts. The team has now struck out at least five batters  in five consecutive  contests.
With the  win, Dunwoody broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 19-7. As for Roswell, their loss dropped their record down to 17-7.
Dunwoody will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Hornets: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled  at 1:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
