Basketball Game Preview: Bell Eagles vs. South Gate Rams

The Bell Eagles will take on the South Gate Rams at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Bell is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

On Monday, Bell was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 39-33 to South East.

The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Breeana Huerta, who posted ten points. Those ten points gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, South Gate had to suffer through a 81-3 loss at the hands of Garfield. The Rams have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Bell's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for South Gate, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-9.

Everything came up roses for Bell against South Gate in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 45-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bell since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
