Softball Recap: Depew Takes a Loss

Depew was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-2 to the Pawnee Black Bears. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 4-3 to the Black Bears when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Depew's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Pawnee, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.

Depew will take on Mason at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pawnee, they will square off against Hominy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Black Bears 3.8, the Bucks 0.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
