Soccer Recap: Lee County Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Lee County has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Buford Wolves who were credited with the win on Thursday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as Lee County came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 27th, while Buford are ranked 178th).

Lee County's defeat dropped their record down to 10-3. As for Buford, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-8.

Looking ahead, Lee County will venture away from home to square off against Atkinson County at 6:00 p.m. on the 18th. As for Buford, they will host Pinecrest Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
