Basketball Game Preview: Woodland Hills Wolverines vs. Shady Side Academy Bulldogs

The Woodland Hills Wolverines will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Shady Side Academy Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Woodland Hills didn't have too much trouble with Frankford as they won 50-35.

Meanwhile, Shady Side Academy is still undefeated this season after their contest against Blackhawk on Saturday, but Blackhawk came as close as anyone has to beating them. Shady Side Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Blackhawk, sneaking past 51-48. Given the Bulldogs' advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Cougars are ranked 46th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Woodland Hills now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Shady Side Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
