Evans proved they can win big last Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Greenbrier Wolfpack 2-1. The victory was just business as usual for the Knights, who after five games remain undefeated this season.

Alec Suarez and Calvin Dent scored both of Evans' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Evans' win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 26 goals over those five matchups. As for Greenbrier, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Evans will face off against Lakeside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Evans is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.8 goals per game this season. As for Greenbrier, they will square off against Effingham County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
