Basketball Recap: Loara Saxons vs. Magnolia Sentinels

Magnolia typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Loara proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 56-48 victory over the Magnolia Sentinels. The win was some much needed relief for the Saxons as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Loara's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sophia Rangel led the charge by dropping a double-double on 27 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Rangel has scored at least a third of Loara's points.
