Basketball Game Preview: South Fayette Lions vs. Peters Township Indians

The South Fayette Lions will challenge the Peters Township Indians on Friday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as South Fayette comes in on 16 and Peters Township on three.

South Fayette is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mars 67-32. The Lions have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 21 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Peters Township faced Thomas Jefferson in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. Peters Township came out on top in a nail-biter against Thomas Jefferson, sneaking past 46-43.

South Fayette's win bumped their record up to 24-1. As for Peters Township, their victory bumped their record up to 22-3.

South Fayette didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Peters Township in their previous matchup back in January of 2022, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win.
