Softball Preview: Kellyville Ponies vs. Hominy Bucks
Kellyville and Hominy are an even 3-3 against one another since September of 2015, but likely not for long. The Ponies will head out on the road to square off against the Bucks at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Kellyville comes in on seven and Hominy on 24.
Kellyville proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by eight) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Collinsville.

Hannah Huffman looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Kellyville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maddie Lawson, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI.

Kellyville's record now sits at 16-9. As for Hominy, their record is now 27-2.
Kellyville couldn't quite get it done against Hominy when the teams last played back in August of 2024 as they fell 7-2. Can the Ponies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
