Basketball Recap: Bishop Carroll's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Wednesday

After a string of four wins, Bishop Carroll's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They received a blow as they fell 61-44 to the Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Marauders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 50-27 back in January.

Several Huskies players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Emily Lucko, who posted 13 points. Lucko is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 46% in the last five games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Pablic, who had ten points.

Bishop Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 18-7. As for Bishop Guilfoyle, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 19 of their last 20 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 25-2 record this season.

As of now, neither Bishop Carroll nor Bishop Guilfoyle have any future games scheduled.
