Mariposa County and John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Mariposa County had to settle for second. The match between the Mariposa County Grizzlies and the John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills Patriots didn't end well, with the Mariposa County Grizzlies falling 59-44. The Grizzlies' defeat signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

When it comes to explaining why Mariposa County lost, don't look at Mia Hansen. Despite the final result, she posted 15 points and eight rebounds. Those 15 points gave Hansen a new career-high. Heely Patterson was another key player, putting up six points and six boards.
