Softball Recap: Papillion-Lavista South Has No Trouble Against Omaha South

Papillion-LaVista South had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 12-run drubbing they dealt Omaha South on Thursday. The Titans blew past the Packers 13-1. The Titans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by six runs or more this season.

Hailey Rasmussen looked comfortable as she tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Papillion-LaVista South got a massive performance out of Kaitlyn Herd, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Maizey Macke, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs and one double.
