the Week awards during the 2022-23 school year.
Each week during the season (regular and post),
there will be a fan-generated contest to tab
weekly winners. Each winner receives a letter and
award patch for their varsity jacket.
How does it
work? Nominees are selected from
statistics submitted on MaxPreps. Coaches who do not have current access may
request their free account here.
Weekly finalists are released on MaxPreps every
Tuesday and voting is conducted in a special poll.
Voting ceases at noon on Mondays. The winners are announced the next day
along with the next week's nominees.
Participants may vote as many
times as they want. It's a competition.
This past week, over 300,000 votes were cast. So far
this school year over 4.2-million votes have been cast.

BasketballSenior had a triple-double (21 points, 16
rebounds and 10 blocks) in a 57-23 win over Blue River Valley. Also had
21 points and 13 rebounds in a 66-17 win over Cambridge City Lincoln.
Averaging 23.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 4.4 steals and four blocks per
game.

* Cristen Carter, Ben Davis (Indianapolis) Girls BasketballSenior had 25 points, 19 rebounds and six steals in a 68-63 win over Warren Central. Also had 18 points and 11 rebounds in a 65-60 win over North Central, 19 points and seven rebounds in a 67-65 win over Lawrence Central and 10 points and 16 rebounds in a 62-52 win over Pike. Averaging 18 points and 13.3 rebounds.
* Trent Sisley, Heritage Hills (Lincoln City) Boys BasketballSophomore had 36 points, 23 rebounds, nine blocks and four assists in a 75-73 win over Ownesboro. Also had 27 points, 13 rebounds and three assists in a 51-46 win over Posey. Averaging 28 points, 12.4 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 3.2 blocks.

Also had 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists in a 91-4 win over South Bend Clay. Averaging 12.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, 4.8 blocks and 2.5 steals.
