Baseball Recap: Peoples Baptist Academy Takes a Loss

The Peoples Baptist Academy Knights came up short against the Trinity Christian School of Griffin LIONS on Friday and fell 14-10. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Carter O'Steen and Josue Ruiz did some serious damage despite the final result: O'Steen scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Ruiz scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4. Another player making a difference was Aaron Cramer, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Peoples Baptist Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, their victory bumped their record up to 2-11.

Coming up, Trinity Christian School of Griffin will head out to challenge Peachtree Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The LIONS are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Peoples Baptist Academy will be paying especially close attention to Trinity Christian School of Griffin's contest: after Trinity Christian School of Griffin faces off against Peachtree Academy, they'll take on Peoples Baptist Academy again at 3:00 p.m. on the 14th.
