Recap: Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials vs. Lower Moreland Lions
The Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials were the 59-40 winner over the Lower Moreland Lions when they last played one another back in January of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Plymouth Whitemarsh took a 34-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lower Moreland.
Lower Moreland was led to victory by Briana Mcferran and Sydney Santora. Mcferran scored 12 points along with two steals and two blocks, while Santora scored six points along with ten rebounds and two blocks. Mcferran is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 11 games she's played.
Plymouth Whitemarsh's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for Lower Moreland, their victory bumped their record up to 12-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Plymouth Whitemarsh won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hatboro-Horsham at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th. Hatboro-Horsham will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings (they are ranked 431st, while Plymouth Whitemarsh is ranked 167th). As for Lower Moreland, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against New Hope-Solebury at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
