Elk City came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.5 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Bethany Bronchos. That's more bragging rights for the Elks, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Elk City's win bumped their record up to 21-2-1. As for Bethany, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-10.
